Energy Now!

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

Do you find it difficult making it through the day, or are you constantly tired throughout the day? You problem may be that you lack energy. TriVita has solved that nagging problem with a product called Energy Now!.

Every day, you encounter stressful situations that sap the energy from your body. You become exhausted and irritable from the stress because your body uses too much of the amino acid, phenylalanine. Energy Now! is rich with natural phenylalanine – fueling brain function and providing you with the alertness and mental clarity you need to live life to its fullest.

The oxygen balance inside cells is critical to feeling your best. To prevent oxygen starvation within your cells, Energy Now! includes natural antioxidant polyphenols from green tea and cocoa which increase oxygen delivery and give your body what it needs for maximum energy production.

The spark in your energy cycle comes from your nervous system, including your brain. Your brain relies on B Vitamins to fuel its processes and provide a nutrient-rich environment for mental clarity, mood balance and energy production. The CoQ10, B-1, B-2, B-3, B-5 and B-6 vitamins found in Energy Now! assist in this process, and provide the ignition your brain needs to recharge its energy supply.

"I saw James Robison on TV and got TriVita’s Sublingual B-12 and Energy Now! I’ve been taking it for several years, except when I was in remission for about a year. I’m 62 years old and care for my mother. With CFS, I have no stamina, feel weak and have pain in all of my joints. On bad days I also have blurred vision, mental fog, and I’m so weak I can’t even hold up a paperback book. Energy Now! is the reason for my dramatic improvement. It gives me much more energy and stamina. I just thank God for it. I take two in the morning and another one after lunch. But I’d tell anyone to play it by ear and adjust individually… sometimes I need just one in the morning or take two in the afternoon. But I want everyone with chronic fatigue to know that Energy Now! really helps me."
- Virginia C. Lexington, MS

Some people have been worried about phenylalanine and some possible health risks that associated with it. However, according to the Mayo Clinic, "phenylalanine isn’t a problem for most people."

Katherine Zeratsky, R.D., L.D. of the Mayo Clinic says that "phenylalanine is found in protein-rich foods, such as milk, cheese, nuts, seeds, poultry and fish. It’s also found in diet foods, such as diet soda, which contains aspartame.&"

"Phenylalanine isn’t a problem for most people. Diet sodas contain a warning about phenylalanine because it can pose a risk to people who have phenylketonuria (PKU). PKU is a rare condition in which the body cannot process phenylalanine. If you don’t have PKU, don’t worry about phenylalanine in your diet soda," she concludes.

Energy Now! is safe unless you do suffer from PKU. Before taking any supplement, it’s best to contact your health care professional, and/or doctor.

Vitamin D

Friday, July 17th, 2009

In an email newsletter I received from Health Resource, president Layne Lowery said, "Vitamin D deficiency can produce a whole laundry list of severe ailments including decreased bone strength… high cholesterol levels… heart trouble… memory loss… aching joints… energy drain… and mood swings, just to name a few. And if you are over the age of 50, you face a higher risk since your body can’t properly absorb vitamin D from natural sunlight."

If you’ve read any of my previous articles regarding vitamin D and its powerful effects on the human body, you’d understand what Mr. Lowery is saying. Vitamin D has been scientifically proven to provide you with a wide variety of health benefits that last for the long term.

Do you remember you mother telling you to drink your milk, and that you need the calcium and vitamin D to build strong bone? There was a lot of wisdom in your mothers words. Hopefully you followed her recommendation. However, vitamin D is not all about healthy bones. There have been a lot of studies done on vitamin D and some of the results are mind-boggling.

In a study done by Australian scientists, they have noted that "an inverse correlation between the condition of very sick patients and their levels of vitamin D."

"In other words, the sickest patients in the intensive care unit analyzed by researchers from Sydney’s Garvan Institute of Medical Research also had the lowest levels of vitamin D. In fact, among the 42 patients studied there were three deaths, and the deceased had the lowest levels of vitamin D in the cohort." [1]

Dr. Paul Lee, one of the researchers in the study, says "vitamin D has been linked to sugar control, heart function, gut integrity, immunity and defense against infection." [1]

"Patients in ICU suffer from different degrees of inflammation, infection, heart dysfunction, diarrhea and metabolic deregulation, so vitamin D deficiency may play a role in each of these common ICU conditions," he adds. [1]

The Australian scientists that conducted this study speculate that when we are very sick, the body draws upon any vitamin D available to function properly, and so we may need extra supplementation to maintain organ function during critical illness. Furthermore, bedridden patients are at an increased risk of bone loss and osteoporosis, and nutritional supplements containing vitamin D, which is safe even at high doses and inexpensive, may be a good idea anyway, they stress. [1]

TriVita has developed VitaCal-Mag D, which provides five forms of chelated calcium, over 20 bone-fortifying vitamins and minerals, 100% RDI of Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc and Vitamin D, within Chlorophyll-coated tablets that protect the valuable nutrients, which are time-releasing for optimal absorption.

It’s possible that you can quickly restore healthy levels of vitamin D with VitaCal-Mag D from TriVita and may even reverse many of your most dangerous health problems.

You can learn more about vitamin D, and if supplementation is right for you. I’m not a doctor or health care professional, so I can’t say if you need a vitamin D supplement However, from my research, I believe that if you’re not getting enough sunlight exposure, or eating foods high in vitamin D, you should do something.

Sonoran Bloom

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

I received a phone call Sunday morning from a person interested in Sonoran Bloom Nopalea®, the product, and also Sonoran Bloom the business opportunity. After further discussion with this person I found out that not only was this person interested in Sonoran Bloom, but this person was also interested in a product and company called Mandura™.

This took place on Sunday morning and since I was just heading out the door, I had to cut the conversation short. However, I did get this person’s contact information and some additional information on Mandura™.

After I returned home from church, I did some research on Mandura™. With information in hand, I decided to compare Mandura™ to Sonoran Bloom, both company and product. In this article I’ll share information about both companies and their products, and what I feel is a better business opportunity.

First off, let’s take a look at Mandura™ and what this company has to offer. For $30 you can become a Independent Business Owner (IBO). However, I did not see anything on their web site about receiving your own personal/business web site, a place where you can send prospects, that’s not to say they do not have one.

I’m not really sure how the company works as far as compensating their IBOs, but I did find this at the bottom of their "Opportunity Overview" page:

"Give it a try, and if, for some reason, you are not completely satisfied with Mandura™ and the rare opportunity we are offering, you can return your first case for a complete refund within 30 days of purchase."

I saw they had different entry levels, but I’m not sure what they mean about a complete refund on your first case of product. That was a little confusing too me. You can look at the information by going to www.mymandura.com.

The Mandura™ compensation plan is a "Straight Line Forced Matrix "plan. In other words, when you sign up, you’re placed in line, and as others sign up after you, they get placed below you. I’m not sure what you get paid, if anything, for someone who just wants to order the product. That’s a little fuzzy at this particular time. What it looks like too me is the company is looking for lots of IBO’s who are consuming the product, but I may be wrong.

Personally I’m not a fan of the "Forced Matrix" comp plan because I’ve seen it in the past where the majority of people are expecting the people above to promote the business and get people placed below them. That is not my cup of tea! I believe, to make a business work, everyone has to contribute, everyone.

I may have more on Mandura at a later date, once I look deeper into the company and product. Yes, I did say product. At the present time, they only have the one product, coined "A Royal Family of Fruits." The product contains Durian, Mangosteen, Acai, and Blueberries. I’m sure it tastes wonderful and has some excellent anti-oxidant qualities, but aren’t there plenty of mangosteen and acai products on the market?

The questions arise: Can someone build a business on one product? The company is only a year old, will they be around next year? As you may already know, many startups crash and burn in the early years. Will the IBO’s actually work the system, if there is a plan or system in place? Who are the leaders? What type of training to they have? Is the compensation plan too good to be true? Only time will tell!

Sonoran Bloom

First I’ll start with the product, Sonoran Bloom Nopalea™. Nopalea™ (No–pah lay’ uh) blends antioxidant-rich Nopal cactus superfruit with naturally sweet Agave nectar to bring you a deliciously unique concentrated wellness drink. Harnessing the power of betalains, a rare and powerful class of antioxidants that flourishes in the Nopal fruit, Nopalea delivers scientifically proven health benefits.

Betalains are the pigments that give the Nopal cactus fruit its vibrant pink color. But that’s just the beginning. They’re also natural antioxidants and they’re only found in a few of the world’s plants, the Nopal cactus is one of them.

Nopalea™ not only contains natural antioxidants, it also helps to reduce inflammation, and detoxify your body. The Nopal cactus has been scientifically proven to repair cells that have been damaged by free radicals. In other words, Nopalea™ works at the cellular level.

"Nopalea™ specifically targets signs of inflammation in your body and reduces them quickly."[1] Its betalains and other anti-inflammatory ingredients work directly on the fluid surrounding your cells. There, they draw off the toxins and excess water to reduce inflammation and rebalance the cellular environment.

Sonoran Bloom Nopalea™ is not made from Mangosteen or Acai. And from the research I’ve done, Nopalea is a much more effective fruit than the aforementioned fruits. To learn more or to try Sonoran Bloom Nopalea™ click on the previous link.

Vitamins and minerals play an important role the development of strong and healthy bodies. They are found in almost every food we eat. Vitamins and minerals can also be obtained from many supplemental forms, such as tablets, pills, and drinks.

There are many benefits from taking natural vitamin supplements on a daily basis. A change in diet and the use of supplements have been found effective in dealing with depression. Some experts say you can protect your skin by using antioxidants, such as vitamins C and E, in both facial products and natural supplements. Some people even consider taking energy, or vitality supplements to give them natural sustained energy all day long.

There are many diet supplements on the market that offer shakes and snack bars. There are natural supplements for the older generation, weight loss supplements, bodybuilding supplements, and kids vitamin products. To ensure that you’re taking the correct nutritional supplements it’s always wise to seek the assistance of a nutritional expert. TriVita

TriVita is consistently providing health and wellness tips through their Weekly Wellness Report. Most of the information provided, in these reports, is written by Brazos Minchew, TriVita’s Chief Science Officer. The way I see it, TriVita wants people to be aware of the seriousness of disease, along with steps to preventative natural medicine.

Many of the diseases, in my opinion, are preventable, if we would just adhere to some simple, yet basic, steps. TriVita lays out the ten steps (10 Essentials for Health & Wellness) to living a healthier lifestyle, they are:

  1. Breathe Deeply – Air is the cornerstone of life. Every moment of every day your body exchanges carbon dioxide for oxygen to keep each cell in your body alive and functioning. A rich supply of oxygen can make the difference between feeling tired and stressed and youthful and focused. Take at least five deep breaths from your abdomen several times a day.

  2. Drink Water – Water is essential for everything your body does. In fact, you are more than 70 percent water! Nutrient absorption, blood flow, respiration, elimination, and your ability to see and hear require adequate consumption of pure, clean water. Your body cannot effectively store the water you need throughout the day. Drink at least eight glasses of water every day.

  3. Sleep Peacefully – Sleep is the only time your body has to repair and rejuvenate every organ and system in your body. Sleep deprivation causes cellular damage, and limits the production of enzymes and hormones your body needs to keep your cells healthy, and prevent premature aging. Sleep also has a powerful impact on your emotional health – it eases stress and helps you cope with the ups and downs of your day. Strive to get eight hours of sleep every night.

  4. Eat Nutritiously – Food has a powerful impact on your body. Everyday, food, in large part, determines how you feel and how your body functions. A balanced diet, rich in whole foods, combined with quality nutritional supplements created to meet your specific needs, will give you the energy you need today, and the disease-fighting strength you need to build a healthy future.

  5. Enjoy Activity – Your body was created to move – and move often. Activity increases your circulation, speeding oxygen, nutrients and water to your cells. Your Lymphatic System requires activity to purge your body of deadly toxins. Activity also triggers your brain to release health-giving hormones and enzymes that lift your spirit while they bolster your immune system. A small investment in daily moderate activity will enable you to reap tremendous health benefits.

  6. Give and Receive Love – As you give and receive love, freely and generously, you will be blessed with meaningful, lifelong relationships and cherished memories that will bring joy in happy times, and strength and peace in difficult times.

  7. Be Forgiving – By forgiving yourself and others of past and present mistakes, real or perceived, you will gain freedom from negativity and guilt that will strengthen you and those you love.

  8. Practice Gratitude – Sincere gratitude will lift and inspire you. Recognizing and appreciating all you have empowers you to find and express true joy.

  9. Develop Acceptance – When you develop the ability to identify and accept the circumstances in your life you cannot change, yet strive to make positive changes whenever and wherever you can, you will discover lasting peace and hope.

  10. Develop a Relationship with God – You build a relationship with God in the same way you build a relationship with those around you – through sharing and listening. By offering a simple prayer daily, you will enjoy a sense of well-being you will not experience any other way.

To pursue wellness, you must find a balance between the physical, emotional, and spiritual areas of your life. And that’s just what TriVita’s 10 Essentials for Health & Wellness can help you do. If you would practice these steps each and every day, you WILL develop habits and attitudes that will increase your energy and help you get the most out of life.

Vitamin D

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

"Lab studies have suggested that higher vitamin D blood levels may boost cognitive functions of the brain. And people with impaired cognitive function are more likely to develop dementia, with some small clinical studies suggesting that low levels of vitamin D may be associated with dementia and poor cognitive function." [1]

A previously conducted study found that "people with optimum levels of vitamin D were much less likely to be cognitively impaired. In other words, having too little vitamin D in your body appeared to make it harder to think … a status associated with greater risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and other forms of dementia." [2]

A new study conducted by a joint team of British and American doctors have found similar results as the previous study. They also concluded that vitamin D is a "hormone-like vitamin" that is a "necessary brain nutrient." The study determined that "people with the lowest vitamin D levels were more than twice as likely to have impaired understanding, compared to those with the highest vitamin D levels" (Llewellyn DJ et al. 2009).[3]

The understanding of the role of vitamin D in maintaining optimal health has advanced sharply in the past two decades. There is mounting evidence for beneficial roles for vitamin D in reducing the risk of bone diseases and fractures, many types of cancer, bacterial and viral infections, autoimmune diseases, and cardiovascular diseases.

Recently, several reports have also been published regarding the role of vitamin D in neuroprotection. It should be no surprise that doctors and scientists continue to study the effects of vitamin D deficiency in the aging. With Alzheimer and other forms of dementia on the rise, the search for a cure is ever present.

Vitamin D supplements can be found in every health food aisle of your favorite grocery and drug store. I believe that people understand that a lack of this all important, formerly known, sunshine vitamin causes serious problems to the human body. However, is supplementation the answer?

Within the previously mentioned studies, scientists conclude that "further research is warranted to investigate whether vitamin D supplementation is a cost effective and safe way of reducing the incidence of cognitive impairment in the growing elderly population around the world."

You can learn more about vitamin D, and if supplementation is right for you. Not being a doctor or health professional, I cannot say if you need to take a vitamin D supplement, but from what I’ve read, I do believe that if I’m not getting out in the sun enough, or eating foods high in vitamin D, I should do something to up my daily intake.

The nutritional experts at TriVita know the importance of vitamin D. That’s why they have created VitaCal-Mag D. VitaCal-Mag D provides, five forms of chelated calcium, over 20 bone-fortifying vitamins and minerals, 100% RDI of Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc and Vitamin D, and Chlorophyll-coated tablets that protect valuable nutrients, time-releasing optimal absorption.

These are just a few of the health benefits of TRiVita’s Sonoran Bloom Nopalea®. To see a complete list of benefits, vist the Sonoran Bloom web site. While there you can view all the testimonials, and also learn all about the business opportunity that surrounds this product.

There are many different types of inflammation. However, the two most common types of inflammation are acute and chronic. Acute inflammation is of short duration, which could be anything from a few minutes to a few days. Such inflammation is caused by foreign substances entering the body, or by physical damage. A viral infection may also precipitate acute inflammation.

Chronic inflammation, on the other hand, is long lasting. It may persist for weeks, months or even years. Chronic inflammation may be brought on by acute inflammation or it may be the result of an auto immune disease.

Two other, less common types of inflammation are sub-acute inflammation and granulomatous chronic inflammation. Sub-acute inflammation has clinical features of both acute and chronic inflammation – it is an intermediary stage between the two. Granulomatous chronic inflammation is a special type of chronic inflammation that is associated with tuberculosis and some lesser known diseases.[1]

When inflammation occurs, chemicals from the body’s white blood cells are released into the blood or affected tissues in an attempt to rid the body of foreign substances. This release of chemicals increases the blood flow to the area and may result in redness and warmth. Some of the chemicals cause leakage of fluid into the tissues, resulting in swelling. The inflammatory process may stimulate nerves and cause pain.[2]

Nopalea® (No–pah lay’ uh) blends antioxidant-rich Nopal cactus superfruit with naturally sweet Agave nectar to bring you a deliciously unique concentrated wellness drink. Harnessing the power of betalains, a rare and powerful class of antioxidants that flourishes in the Nopal fruit, Nopalea® delivers scientifically proven health benefits.

If inflammation is the problem, Nopalea® is the solution, because of the betalains. When you drink Nopalea, you take these betalains into your system, where they begin to restore your vitality on a cellular level. By helping the body reduce the toxins surrounding your cells and enabling essential nutrients to reach each cell, the betalains in Nopalea® can reduce the inflammation in your body that leads to disease.

"My wife consistently fights inflammation. Her wedding ring hasn’t fit for four years due to inflamed fingers. After taking Nopalea, her ring can now slide on easily. This stuff really works!" – Jon B. – Flagstaff, AZ

Vitamins and Minerals

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

Did you know that your body needs essential nutrients? These nutrients come in different forms, vitamins and minerals. Do you know how to tell them apart?

Vitamins and minerals are needed for growth and good health. Most of the vitamins and minerals your body needs are found in the food you eat. That’s why it’s important to eat a balanced diet that includes fruits and vegetables. However, most of us do not abide to a healthy diet.

Vitamins are chemical compounds and minerals are chemical elements. They are nutrients for the human body that are contained within food substances. Vitamins control the chemical reactions within the body to convert food into energy and living tissue. They help the body use the energy nutrients, maintain normal body tissue, act as a regulator, and are only needed in small amounts.

Vitamins are organic compounds that can either be fat soluble—easily absorbed by the body, or water soluble—not easily absorbed.

Water soluble vitamins include vitamin C, folic acid and the eight B-complex vitamins. These can pass through your system quickly so be sure to replenish them often during the day by eating nutritious but small meals.

Fat soluble vitamins include vitamins A, D, E and K and beta-carotene. Fat soluble vitamins are stored in the body tissues. They need the presence of fatty acids to be used efficiently by your body. To avoid depletion of fat soluble vitamins, be sure to include healthy fats like avocado and oils like olive, corn and sunflower.

Minerals can help you build strong bones… help promote blood platelet health to heal wounds and injuries… and give you tons of energy. The most common and critical minerals include calcium, copper, chromium, boron, iodine, iron, magnesium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus, selenium, vanadium and zinc.

Nutritional experts recommend getting most of your vitamins and minerals from your diet, but supplementation is also a simple way to boost your overall health.

It’s good to remember that each vitamin and mineral meets specific body needs. A vitamin cannot substitute, or stand in for, a mineral and vice-versa. So it’s important to get the proper nourishment of vitamins and minerals on a daily basis, if not through diet, than through supplementation.

It’s been stated that the lack, or deficiency of, one of these vitamins and/or minerals can sometimes interfere with another vitamin or mineral’s function or effectiveness. It’s also possible, if a vitamin or mineral deficiency continues, the person can incur a related disease such as beriberi, pellagra, rickets, and scurvy. Conversely, too much of some minerals and vitamins can bring on a toxic condition.

Before taking any supplements, it’s always best to confer with your doctor or health professional. If that’s been done, and you’re looking for the vitamin and mineral supplements that are right for you, click on the following link to check out TriVita’s Products.

Vitamin and Mineral Supplements

Monday, March 9th, 2009

According to experts, the recommended amounts of fruits and vegetables are five servings for children, seven servings for women and nine servings for men. If you’re like most people you probably never reach your goal on a daily basis. And, if you’re like most of us, your fruits and vegetables did not come from an organic source; so, it’s possible that the fruits and vegetables (if you happened to eat them) may have been lacking in nutritional value.

Most nutritionists will agree that staying on top of our nutrient reserve is important. Since our bodies make millions of new cells every day: heart cells, brain cells, bone and blood cells, it’s important to replace a cell every time a cell dies. Again, experts say, if we don’t have the right amount of nutrients to construct a new cell we will either make an incomplete cell or none at all. In either case, the outcome is bad. So in all reality, we need to keep all nutrients on board at all times. This is I, and many nutritionists suggest a multiple vitamin and mineral supplement.

So, what are Supplements: According to Dr. Brazos Minshew, Chief Science Officer of TriVita, he says, "The word supplement means in addition to something – to make up for a deficiency. Vitamin and mineral supplements should be taken in addition to a healthy diet. They make up for the deficiency we face due to the poor nutrient density in our foods. Supplements also help out when our diet is less than perfect."

He goes on to say, "the simplest way to help support your nutrition is to take a general multi-vitamin and mineral supplement that provides a broad range of nutrients at standard nutritional levels. However, please keep the following points in mind:

Some supplements contain very high doses of certain nutrients. When you take nutrients in extremely high doses, you are no longer in the world of nutritional supplementation and have passed into the riskier world of megadose treatment."

Calcium and magnesium minerals are very bulky, and few multi-vitamin/mineral supplements provide the daily requirement. These minerals generally must be taken in the form of additional pills. Note: It isn’t possible for your body to absorb a day’s worth of calcium in a single dose. At least two doses are necessary.

The most common nutritional deficiencies are calcium, chromium, folgate, magnesium, vitamin b6, vitamin c, vitamin b12, vitamin d, vitamin e, and zinc.

Continuing, Dr. Minshew says, "very few of us are so deficient in these nutrients as to show symptoms of outright malnutrition. However, subtle deficiencies may increase the risk of a number of conditions. For example, insufficient intake of calcium and Vitamin D may increase your chances of developing osteoporosis, and inadequate folate and Vitamin B-6 may speed the development of heart disease."

We know that food contains many substances other than vitamins and minerals that may enhance your health.

Dr. Minshew concludes by saying, "supplements won’t make up for bad dietary choices. We simply must commit ourselves to eating more fruits and vegetables. Still, the reality of life is that we don’t always attend to our diet perfectly. So, appropriate nutrient supplementation can help make up for the deficiency we face because of poor nutrient density in our foods and an imperfect diet."

Vitamin C by TriVita

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

It’s no secret to the importance of Vitamin C. Ever since you were a child your mother was probably giving vitamin c, and as you grew older she probably reminded you to take your vitamin c.

Here is the science behind it;

Vitamin C is required in the synthesis of collagen in connective tissue, neurotransmitters, steroid hormones, carnitine, conversion of cholesterol to bile acids and enhances iron bioavailability. Ascorbic acid is a great antioxidant and helps protect the body against pollutants.

Because vitamin C is a biological reducing agent, it is also linked to prevention of degenerative diseases – such as cataracts, certain cancers and cardiovascular diseases.

Ascorbic acid also promotes healthy cell development, proper calcium absorption, normal tissue growth and repair – such as healing of wounds and burns. It assists in the prevention of blood clotting and bruising, and strengthening the walls of the capillaries.

Vitamin C is also needed for healthy gums, to help protect against infection, and assisting with clearing up infections and is thought to enhance the immune system and help reduce cholesterol levels, high blood pressure and preventing arteriosclerosis.[1]

So what happens when there is a deficiency of vitamin C? According to experts, a variety of problems could occur, although scurvy is the only disease clinically treated with vitamin C. However, a shortage of vitamin C may result in "pinpoint" hemorrhages under the skin and a tendency to bruise easily, poor wound healing, soft and spongy bleeding gums and loose teeth.

Edema (water retention) also happens with a shortage of vitamin C, and weakness, a lack of energy, poor digestion, painful joints and bronchial infection and colds are also indicative of an under-supply.

Now I’m no doctor of medical expert, but I do remember the advice from me mother about vitamin C, and the importance of taking it daily, especially during the cold and flu season. I still take vitamin C today, and will continue to do so as long as I’m alive.

According to nutritionists, the best sources of vitamin C come from fruits and vegetables. Although most people are constantly on the go, in turn, they very rarely eat the proper amount of fruits and vegetables. That’s why when someone asks me, I always recommend TriVita’s vitamin C, or Vital C.

Dr. Libby’s Vital C is made with crystalline cells, which are one of the primary advantages compared to other Vitamin C supplements, which typically use finely-ground granules instead. That’s because the six-sided, crystalline cell structure provides much more surface area than finely-ground granulated cells. This in turn allows for more thorough and complete nutrient absorption by the body, before the supplement is eliminated.

In other words, the crystalline form of Vitamin C releases more of the full potency of the nutrient into your body compared to other forms, even the finely-ground granulated form.

Both of TriVita’s Vital C supplements use the crystalline cell form of Vitamin C. In our Crystals product, the crystalline cells come in a loose, powdered form. While in our Time-Release Tablets, the crystalline cells come in a compressed tablet form.

For superior Vitamin C potency, your body is better served with crystalline cells (in either the loose or tablet form) versus the finely-ground, granular form.
